Rabindranath Tagore was one of the greatest poets if India and the world as well. He was born in Kolkata in 1861.Maharshi Debendra Nath was his father and Sarada Devi was his mother. Rabindranath started writing poems at an early age. He got the Noble Prize in 1913 for his wonderful contribution in the field of literature. He was not one a poet but also a painter, patriot, a novelist and an educationist. Tagore set up Viswabharati University at Shantiniketan. He wrote many patriotic songs. Rabindranath died in 1941.But his works can never die
