THE CAP-SELLER AND THE MONKEYS

Story: once on a hot day a cup-seller became tired selling caps throughout the day. He fell asleep under a tree. A group of monkeys lived in the same tree. They came down the tree and stole the caps away. They climbed up the tree and the monkeys wore the caps each.

Now the cap-seller woke up and found his caps missing. He looked here and there. At last, he looked up and found the monkeys wearing his caps. The poor cap-seller made many efforts to get back the caps but failed. At last, he struck upon a plan. He then threw away his own cap at the monkeys. They saw this and imitated the cap-seller’s act. Then the monkeys threw away the caps they were wearing. Now the cap-seller collected the caps and left the place.

Moral: Where there is a will there is a way.
