BMW plans to bring 3 electric cars to India in 6 months
BMW has announced its intention to join the dynamics in the electrical field. The company said it plans to launch three electric vehicles in the Indian market within six months. BMW India President and CEO Vikram Pawa confirmed this to PTI. He said that in the coming days, the elite vehicles of the company will move forward in this country with the help of electric batteries.
According to the report, the company's electric flagship car SUV-iX will be launched in India on December 12 next month. Even BMW's subsidiary Mini (MINI) brand will bring its own all-electric hatchback car to the domestic market in the future. The company's i4 fully electric sedan is also on the list of vehicles to be launched in India. "We are taking the cars to the next level, the main goal of which is to bring them to the fully electric version," Pava said.
However, BMW lags behind the luxury automobile company Mercedes-Benz in the race for electric cars. Because in 2019, Mercedes launched its first electric car in this country. BMW has just announced that it will bring its own electric car there. Jaguar and Audi are in the second and third place respectively in the race to bring electric luxury cars in this country

BMW iX
It is claimed that the BMW IX, powered by two electric motors, can reach a speed of 100 kmph in just 8.1 seconds. It can come in two variants. Both may feature all-wheel drive features. Its power output can be 326-423 hp. On the other hand, according to the variant, its range is estimated to be 425-630 km.
BMW i4
The BMW i4 electric sedan may soon be launched in India along with the world market. It is inspired by BMW I Vision Dynamics. The screen was removed from the top of the car at the 2016 Frankfurt Motor Show. It can come with a 61.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, which can give a range of 590 km on a single charge.
