WASHINGTON: 'Mrs. Marvel' is one of the most anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) projects, and now its trailer has doubled viewers' expectations. On Tuesday, Marvel unveiled the official trailer for the Disney + Hotstar series, the story of Kamala Khan (Iman Velani), a Muslim American teenager who wants to be like Captain Marvel.

In the clip, Kamala is seen trying to balance her high school life as a teenager and her unique responsibility of being a superhero with new superpowers. To make the trailer even more interesting, the producers have added the Weekend Blind Lights song to the background.

Fans have responded quite well to the trailer. "That last shot, where he's in the streetlight post ... is perfect. I imagine we'll see his costume evolve, like starting as a Captain Marvel Cosplay, then finally taking on his own perspective. It looks absolutely delightful," said one. Netizen commented. "Absolutely looking forward to this show, and not quite expecting from Marvel. Nice thing guys, can't wait," wrote another.

Asian and American actors including Mohan Kapoor, Nimra Bucha, Aramis Knight, Sagar Sheikh, Ish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Matt Lintz, Yasmin Fletcher, Light Fake, Azhar Usman and Travina Springer are also a part of Mrs. Marvel`, which will be released in June.
