Dhoka Round D Corner Box Office Collection Day 1: 

Starring R Madhavan, Aparshakti Khurana, Darshan Kumar and Khushhali Kumar, the film released in theaters on September 23, saw a healthy start at the ticket counters courtesy National Cinema Day. According to trade reports, the film did a decent collection of Rs 1.25 crore. However, if the prices were not cut on Friday, the film had earned a lot. With a ticket price of just Rs 75 on Cinema Day, Dhoka became the third most favorite film of cinephiles after 'Brahmastra' and Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Deol thriller 'Chup: Revenge of the Artist'.

According to film trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, "#Dhoka gets the benefit of low ticket rates [#NationalCinemaDay2022] The first day got off to a good start [limited screens/shows]... It will be interesting to see how it performs on the day. 2 & 3, when ticket rates come back to normal price... Fri ₹ 1.25 cr. #India biz."

Dhoka received largely unfavorable reviews from critics. The film, which has an impressive ensemble cast, reportedly cost ₹20 crore to produce. Owing to the National Cinema Day, which is being celebrated by the exhibitors across the country, the Madhavan starrer has sold over 80000 tickets for Rs 80 lakh. (with some exceptions). It should be noted that the ticket price on Friday will be ₹75, so the total opening number will be less. As per the current trends, the fraud will open between Rs 1 to 2 crore. It appears that the ROI for Madhavan's film will be negative. On Friday, it will compete with Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan starrer Chup, which has already done phenomenal business and is expected to do well at the box office.
